JOSEPH BIZJAK (1911 - 1994)


Joseph E. Bizjak, 83, Greenwood, Clark County, died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 1994, at his home. A memorial service was held on Saturday, Dec. 31, 1994, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Greenwood. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery.


Joseph E. Bizjak was born on Sept. 7, 1911, to August and Anna (nee Schasal) Bizjak. He served in CCC Camps. He drove school bus for Greenwood for many years. On Feb. 20, 1946, he married Constance Truax. She survives. He farmed and hauled cattle and worked as a mechanic for Schwellenbach Implement for a number of years.


Survivors include his wife two sons, Edward (Iva) Bizjak, Greenwood and Charles Bizjak, Greenwood two sisters, Agnes Wehrman, Loyal and Sophie Reineking, Colby.


He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.


Smith Cremation of Eau Claire handled the arrangements.
