Hello, I hope your 9.11 have been quiet and peaceful. I have just watched a film about the NY fire dept. mad last year by two frech journalists that followed the fire fighters through the situation at WTC. It was really touching and almost scary. I have throughout the year been following your site. Perhaps you should add link to this site as well http://www.spindelvev.no/immigrant/letters/A4898.htm It describes people from Curtiss in 1889. A lot of them were from Gudbrandsdalen. Do you know of anyone that may know who sits on the land today? There were three farms. I have been able to trace some more descendants, but none from Curtiss. I don't know if there is family still at the farms. If you have any contact with locals that can communicate through e-mail, then I would very much like to come into contact with them. There is a source to which I have supplied information that holds a lot of information on people from the lower Gudbrandsdalen region that has just been updated. You may want to have a look at that.
