Alfuth & Cieciora Connections

I'm tracing my wife's family. I just found the Thorp connections last week.

Her great grandfather was Stephan Alfuth, who farmed in the extreme NW corner of Reseberg Twp section 5.

He settled there between 1890 and 1893, next to his brother in law, Theodor Cieciora. Both of them came from West Prussia via Pittsburgh. Stephan later moved over to Section 6, it looks like from the maps (1915); I was looking to see if it was before 1905.

Thanks very much for all your work! The plat maps have been a great help.

You may list the surnames we are looking for on the contacts list.

Again, thank you so much for the excellent county history site. It is one fine work, very easy to use and with quite a lot of information!

Thanks!! Kent Bergh
