1949-1955

My parents, Harold (Hank) and Rosemary Weishaar moved to Greenwood after they were married in 1949. I am trying to find an address where they lived.

Also, my father owned the North Side Filling Station and I would also like to find that location so that my husband and I can come up and see where my parents lived and worked.

They belonged to the St. Mary's Parish and in 1955 returned home to Chicago.

I have very fond memories of visits to the town.

If anyone has information, please contact me. I have already contacted the library, but their telephone books do not date back that far. I have looked at the libraries archived information and can't locate information either.

I have not been able to find a listing for St. Mary's church in Greenwood either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
