Hazel Rundle-Sweeney-Welch was my Grandmother and this picture was taken in 1974 at Christmas. I have lots of fond memory's of Grandma with her raspy voice and her funny little aged walk. When I would go to visit her home almost weekly and she would always have a dime, quarter or half dollar that she would put in my hand and then squeeze it ever so gently. She had a beautiful smile and there was always one waiting for me.

 Hazel Rundle was Married twice. The first marraige was to Stewart Sweeney, born September 24, 1890. Stewart and Hazel had one child, Austin Willard Sweeney, born June 2, 1915(Bills father).
Her second marraige was to Thomas Erwin Welch Sr. who was born in Lindsey, Wisconsin, Jan 24, 1894. From this marraige , 3 children were born. Thomas Erwin Welch Jr., born Nov 28, 1924 (my Father)-Ronald Huerl Welch, born May 15, 1935- Mary Louise Welch, born Dec 12, 1937.

Mary Louise Welch-Vilche is my Aunt. Granddaughter to Henry T. Rundle, Great Granddaughter to Frederick Rundle. Daughter of Hazel Rundle-Welch. Mary is approximately 5 years my senior. She is aunt, a wonderful woman and my best friend and I can't give her enough credit for helping me save our family's history. Love you Mary.
