Loyal Village Scene;
--The
Loyal Fire. This
scanned photo was contributed by Wilma
Sossaman. Lorraine Markee is fairly certain this photo was taken of
the Central Meat Market fire in Loyal, WI. There is a similar photo in the
Loyal Centennial 1870-1970 p 71, with the caption, "The Central Meat Market
fire drew a crowd late one afternoon." This photo appears to have been taken
at a different angle but the buildings are definitely the same ones. It also
looks think the sign says "Central".
