Cruising in A Rumble Seat Car

As nearly as I can figure this is a 1930s car...likely 1934 to 1938.  It obviously wasn't ours but another family's, since that is my dad, Albert Wessel, sitting on the left side in the rumble seat.  It looks cold to be riding back there, but the guys look happy.  I do not recognize the other man.

My grandfather had a Model T that was purchased with the money made from the kids picking beans one summer in the 1920s.  He never drove over 20 miles an hour if that.  In 1941 he bought a Chevy Coupe and never drove that over 20 miles an hour.  Once he ended up in the ditch and my dad had to get him out with the tractor.  It must have been slow motion driving into that ditch at that speed.

Those were the two cars he owned in his lifetime.  He died in 1959, so that means each car lasted 15 to 19 years.  Of course they probably didn't have 10,000 miles on either one total.
