Juveniles En-Masque

The first juvenile masquerade of the season occurred last evening at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bonell. The affair was gotten up by intimate friends of their son Freddie, the occasion being the twelfth anniversary of his birthday, and right secretly and successfully did the young folks manage it. About thirty participated in the event, at which all who attended expressed themselves as enjoying "the pleasantest time in their lives." The entertainment and novelties presented, proved to be so attractive that the festivities were prolonged till the hour of two this morning. Mr. and Mrs. Bonell furnished most excellent piano and violin music for the dancers and at a seasonable hour a table loaded with elegant refreshments was spread to which the happy masqueraders done ample justice. Some of the costumes were elaborate in design and but few of the personators could be recognized save by those most intimately acquainted. A more happy gathering of the young folks has net assembled together in the city for a long time. The following comprises a partial list of those who were present and of the characters assumed so far as were obtainable :
