Bio: Beebe, Charles F. (1881) Contact: Crystal Wendt ----Surnames: Beebe ----History of Northern Wisconsin (Eau Claire County, Wis.) 1881, page 339 CHARLES F. BEEBE, of the firm of J. D. Beebe & Co., grocers. Was born in Massena, St. Lawrence Co., N. Y., Jan, 18, 1852. Came to Monroe, Green Co., Wis., in October, 1860. Worked at carpenter and joiner's trade until 1875, when he came to Augusta, engaged in the boot and shoe business here for three years, then returned to Monroe and remained there until the Spring of 1881, when he again came to Augusta and engaged in the present business in partnership with his father.
