Bio: Peterson, Price (Pine View Trustee)
Surnames: Peterson, Hagen, Bott, Perry, Kislinger ----Source: Scrapbook Collection of Duane Horn Returns as Pine View Trustee Price Peterson has resigned after serving for more than 22 years as a trustee of the county-operated Pine View Nursing Home (formerly known as Jackson Home) in Black River Falls. Peterson, 68, was first appointed to the three-member board of trustees in 1955. The infirmary at that time consisted of a three-story brick structure built in 1905 as the county's "poor house." That building was torn down in late 1974 and a $1 million construction program was completed. Major construction also occurred in 1957 and 1966. Pine View is now licensed to serve up to 157 residents and has a staff of about 110. Administrator Dale Hagen praised Peterson for his "valuable guidance during several administrative and facilities changes." Hagen said that Peterson "Always came to board meetings early so that he would have time to visit and talk with residents. He has been concerned about the care of residents and costs to taxpayers." Hagen continued. Peterson was born in Jackson County and is a retired Irving Township dairy farmer and cattle dealer. He is married and has five children. Peterson's place on the board of trustees will be taken by Joseph Bott of Franklin Township. The other trustees are Louis Perry and Frieda Kislinger of Black River Falls.
