Services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Hansen Chapel for Mrs. Simon (Helene) Pflum, 86, of 108 W. Arnold St., who died at 3:25 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital.

The Rev. Theodore Krueger, associate pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church, will officiate and burial will be made in Gate of Heaven cemetery. Visitations may be made at the Hansen Chapel until 9 p.m. today and on Tuesday until time of services.

The former Helena Mellenthin was born Aug. 17, 1885 in the town of Brighton, North Spencer, and received her education in Spencer schools. She was married in Marshfield, Jan. 13, 1909, to Simon Pflum, who preceded her in death Feb. 13, 1955.

The couple resided in Marshfield where she had ben employed as a seamstress for several years. her husband had operated a harness and saddle shop here for many years.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William (Genevieve) Summers, Hurley; a grandson, William summers, Rota, Spain; two sisters, Mrs. Edmond (Alma) Glaman, Marshfield; and Mrs. Adolph (Ida) Stelzl, Spencer; and a brother, Emil Mellenthin, Spencer.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother in infancy, and two sisters.
