Wausau – Gertrude Toltzman, 71, of 706 of LeMessurier St., Wausau, died Monday, Jan. 2, 1995, in the Hospice Program, Wausau.

She was born Nov. 12, 1923, in the town of Unity in Clark County to the late Albert G. and Leona M. (Siebert) Toltzman.

Gertrude was a supervisor of data processing for Quaker Oats in Chicago until her retirement in 1985, when she moved to Spencer. She moved to Wausau in 1988.

Survivors include a sister, Ruth (Frank) Zuehlke, Chicago; nieces and nephews, Rebecca Zuehlke, Judith Frank, Susan Jaecks and Tim Kieffer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Fred Toltzman; and a sister, Irene Kieffer.

Memorial services will be held Friday, Jan. 6, 1995, at 12 noon at the Brainerd Funeral Home. Mr. Van E. Dreissen, reader of First Church of Christ-Scientist will be the officiate.

Burial will be in the family lot in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, town of Brighton, Marathon County.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Gertrude’s memory may be given to the American Cancer Society or The Hospice Program, Wausau.
