Yoked parishes welcome new minister. By Ben Schultz.

 

A new pastor is stepping in at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Milan and St. John’s in the town of Wien. Rev. Jeffrey Lambrecht was welcomed Aug. 16.

 

He is the only child of Everett and Jeanne Lambrecht.

 

Lambrecht was born in 1970 and grew up in Augusta. He attended Epiphany Lutheran Elementary School in Eau Claire and public high school in Augusta.

 

He received a degree in police science before attending Concordia University Wisconsin and graduating with a degree in Lutheran secondary education and broad-field social sciences.

 

His first call was to New York City where he taught government, economics and Old

Testament history at a Lutheran high school. He later attended Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Mo., where he graduated with his masters of divinity. Lambrecht was ordained in Aug. 2003.

 

Pastor Jeff met and married his wife, Lara, while attending the seminary. They were

wedded in spring 2000.
