Former Thorp resident Sophie A. Lew, 87, Wausau, died Monday, March 3 at Wausau Aspirus Hospital.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 6 at St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church in Lublin. Entombment was at Calvary Cemetery in Eau Claire.

Thorp Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
