Mary D. Hoehn, 83, Holcombe, died Wednesday, July 9 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.
A Memorial Mass was held Saturday, July 12 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Gilman, with Father John Long officiating. Inurnment was at Mount Nebo Cemetery in Jump River.
The former Mary Horvath was born May 28, 1925 in Chicago, Ill. to the late Joseph and Magdalene (Brozman) Horvath.
She moved with her family to the Hannibal area where she grew up and attended rural schools, graduating from Hannibal High School. She then lived and worked in Chicago, Ill. for many years before moving back to the Hannibal area where she worked as a secretary for the Gilman school system. On December 31, 1981 in Sheldon, she married Raymond Hoehn, who preceded her in death.
She enjoyed visiting with her many friends, spending time traveling and solving crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her stepchildren, Carol (George) Mudgett of Miller Dam, Beverly (Jeff) Mayer of Stetsonville, Janice Nichols of Medford, Kathy Immormino of Gilman, Patty (Paul) McNeil of Orem, Utah, Richard (Laurie) Hoehn of Jump River and Robert (Judy) Hoehn and Thomas Hoehn, both of Chippewa Falls.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Frank, Joe, Andy, Steve and John; and four sisters, Julie, Margie, Anne and Helen.
Plombon Funeral Service of Gilman assisted the family with arrangements.
