(July 25, 1920 - October 15, 2010) Clair "Fuzzy" E. Brunn, 90, Medford, died Friday, Oct. 15 at Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center in Medford, where he had resided the past five months. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 20 at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Medford, with Rev. James Krueger officiating. Burial was at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II with full military honors performed by the Medford Military Honors Team. Honorary pallbearers were Gene Arnett, Jim Krueger, Ralph Neumueller and George Loock. Active pallbearers were Paul Michler, Mert Vaughn, Glenn Emmerich, Elmer Balko, Jim Broeren and Bob Dittrich.
He attended Medford Elementary School, was a 1938 graduate of Medford High School, and attended Dunwoody Technical College in the Twin Cities for being a tool and die maker. He worked at the Heil Company in Milwaukee as a machinist until entering the United States Army Air Corps in 1942. He was stationed in California as an airplane mechanic and was honorably discharged on January 22, 1943.
After the service, he moved back to Medford and worked at Hurd Millwork as a machinist for 24 years, then worked as a manager of the Weather Shield Vinyl Division from February 1970 until his retirement in April 1986.
