Surnames: Hendricks, Metzlaff ---------Source: THORP COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 06/09/1949 --------- Hendricks, Shirley J. (5 AUG 1948 – 27 MAY 1949) Shirley Jean Hendricks, nine month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hendricks, died of pneumonia at their home at Hannibal on May 27th, 1949. The baby was born Aug. 5, 1948 at Stanley, Wis. She is survived by her parents and one brother, Richard, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Metzlaff and Mr. and Mrs. George Hendricks, all of Hannibal. The funeral was held at Hannibal, May 31, Rev. Geo. Fischer officiating, with burial in the Hannibal Cemetery. Hymns of “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” and “When He Cometh” were sung by Carolee Clark, Patty Williams, Haze Shufeldt, accompanied by Bessie Blazek. |
