Allen W. Beyer, 69, Medford, died Friday, Oct. 29 at Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center in Medford, where he had resided the past three weeks, while under hospice care.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 3 at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger officiating.


Allen Beyer was born December 17, 1940 in Stetsonville to the late Lester and Marie (Ludwig) Beyer. He attended Stetsonville elementary schools and was a 1958 graduate of Medford High School.


In September of 1959 in Medford, he married Judy Ellefson, and they later divorced.

In December of 1965 in Iowa, he married Janice Nezval, and they later divorced.

He married Sharon Akey and they later divorced.

On November 26, 1993 in Las Vegas, Nev., he married Kathy Kedrowski, who survives.

He worked with his father in the livestock business, and hauled lumber and bought/sold machinery. He also owned and operated North Central Livestock, and was a procurement manager of livestock for Abbyland Foods for over 25 years. During retirement he was self-employed in the livestock business until ill health.


He enjoyed cards, camping, fishing, his lake home, grandchildren and family.


In addition to his wife, Kathy, survivors include four children, Debbe (Mark) Marr of Coppell, Texas, Ken Gilmore of Corbin, Ky., Daniel (Carol) Beyer of Medford, and Rod (Kim) Beyer of Abbotsford; two step-sons, Christopher and Adam Kedrowski, both of Medford; two sisters, Gerry (Norb) Geiger of Dorchester and Ardis (Les) Clarkson of Stetsonville; 11 grandchildren, Nikki, Morgan, Sadie, Trevor, Blaze and Jordan Beyer, Cody and Jordan Marr and Briannan, Brandon and Brittany Gilmore; and one great-grandchild.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sons, David, William and Scott Beyer.


In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the family to be designated at a later date.
