Emily Clara Landes, 95, Rib Lake, died Sunday, Oct. 25 at Golden LivingCenter in Rib Lake.
 
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 7 at the Rib Lake Ice Age
Pavilion in Rib Lake, with Darrel and Sue Freiboth officiating.
 
Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
 
She was born October 22, 1914 in Ogema to Joseph and Josefa. She attended
Jump River School. She worked at Gem Products in Rib Lake, was a nurse's aid
at Rib Lake Nursing Home, cooked in local restaurants in Ogema and Prentice,
and provided elder care for individuals in the local community.
 
She enjoyed gardening, outdoor work, reading, and caring for and spending time with her terrier, "Bear."
 
Survivors include three children, Joe and "Bear" of Ogema, and Judy Landes and Ruth Landes, both of Madison; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Max; four brothers; and four sisters.
 
In her honor, the family asks that you perform a good deed for someone elderly.
 
Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family
with arrangements.
