Jane Nowak, 84, Colby, died Wednesday, Sept. 30 at Colonial Center in Colby.
Cremainal interment will take place at a later date with a private family
service in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.
 
The former Jane Dable was born March 21, 1925 in the Town of Browning to the
late Fred W. and Eleanor (Rudolph) Dable.
 
She and her husband, Robert Nowak, farmed in the Town of Browning for 30
years before retiring in Dorchester.
 
Survivors include her husband, Robert; two daughters, Jane Caroline (Dennis)
Meyer of Reno, Nev., and Louise (Jeff) Jackson of Schofield; a son, Chuck
(Sue) of North Fond du Lac; a sister, Arlene Ruud of Chehalis, Wash.; six
grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor
in 1938; her twin sister, Jean Haase in 1987; and a brother, Fred in 1993.
 
The Cremation Society of Wisconsin assisted the family with arrangements.
