Jill Ellen Zirngible, 49, Granbury, Texas, died Tuesday, Sept. 15 at Granbury, following a traffic accident.
Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 21 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Medford, with Pastor Pete Warmanen officiating. Pallbearers were Scott, Steve, Eric and Katy Zirngible, Lynn Lindau and Charles "Chip" Ball.
Jill Zirngible was born October 2, 1959 in Medford to Victor R. and Elsie V. (Krueger) Zirngible of Medford.
She attended Medford elementary schools and graduated with honors from Medford Area Senior High in 1977. She worked at Weather Shield Mfg. in Medford, then moved to Texas.
On February 2, 1991 in Granbury, she married Charles F. Ball, who survives. She worked as a security guard for a local nuclear power plant until the time of her death.
She was an associate member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and a past member of the Medford VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed softball, water skiing and was a soccer mom.
In addition to her parents and husband, survivors include two sons, Eric (Prisstina "Prissy") Zirngible of Fort Worth, Texas,, and Charles "Chip" Ball of Granbury; two brothers, Craig (Jeanne) and Dale (Ruth), both of Medford; a granddaughter, Ashalyn Zirngible of Fort Worth; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessie Jane Zirngible in infancy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in her name to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Future Fund.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford assisted the family with arrangements.
