Marvin Schmidt, 72, Cedarburg, died Saturday, July 25. Funeral services were held at David Star Lutheran Church in Jackson.
Marvin Schmidt was born December 2, 1936 to the late John and Freida Schmidt.
He grew up in the Town of Hammel and attended Wayside School and Medford High School.
In 1964 at Walter Memorial Church in Milwaukee, he married Christine Phlanz, who survives.
He worked for Wisconsin Bell and retired in 1993.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking.
In addition to his wife, survivors include four children, Sandra, Linda, Kim and Daniel; brothers and sisters, Arnold, Lenora Johnson, Ruth Schrauth, Louise Piller, Ervin, Roy and Gloria Spreen; and five grandchildren.
