Frank C. Kraemer, 99, Medford, died Monday, June 15 at Memorial Nursing Home in Medford, where he had resided the past 10 years.  

 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 18 at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger and Deacon Joseph Stefancin officiating. Burial will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Medford. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers.  

 

Frank Kraemer was born November 4, 1909 in Whittlesey to the late Nicholas and Mary (Hentges) Kraemer. He attended Medford area schools. 

 

On February 17, 1930 in Appleton, he married Theresa T. Freund, who preceded him in death on October 29, 1992. They lived and farmed in the towns of Chelsea, Medford and Little Black. He was employed by Medford Cooperative as a butter maker for many, many years. He retired in 1979 and lived in the Town of Little Black until entering the nursing home. 

 

He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed hunting, playing sheepshead and his animals. 

 

Survivors include three daughters, Anna (Donald) Lukes of Ogema, Patricia (John) Dietrich of Canton, Ga., and Mary (Gerald) Dassow of Tomahawk; six sons, Raymond (Joyce) of Monument, Colo., Joseph of Delafield, Jerome (Diane) of Aloha, Ore., James (Barbara) of Littleton, Colo., Michael (Kim) of Medford and Greg (Mary) of Stetsonville; three daughters-in-law, Sharon Kraemer of Iola, Audrey Kraemer of Menomonee Falls and Norma Kraemer of Vulcan, Mich.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.   

 

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy; four sons, Donald, Ralph, Jerry and David; two brothers, Joe and Vince; and a sister, Annie. 

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in his name be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
