Eve Kathryn (Raab) LeClair
Eve was born July 25, 1924 in Catawba, Wisconsin to Adam & Elizabeth Raab. She
was raised there and attended schools there working on the family farm in her
youth. She graduated from Phillips High School and during WWII she moved to Chicago working in the defense plants where she met her husband Leo "Frenchy" Leclair. They eventually married August 25, 1950 and later took over the family farm and began raising their family.
In her later life they moved to Medford so she could attended Taylor County
Teachers College. She graduated and later began teaching in Dorchester, WI until
moving to Arizona in 1972. She continued teaching working in Wittmann,
Morristown and primarily in Aguila.
She was also active in the Emmaus Community and a member of the Ruby Red Hats.
She enjoyed attending the R & R respite center. She volunteered extensively in
the community and was always a very generous and outgoing person. Eve had the
ability to make friends with ease and develop lasting relationships.
