Surnames: Spreen, Pinsch, Mahner, Molitor ----Source: Marshfield News Herald (Marshfield, Wood County, Wis.) Monday, 11 May 1998 ----Spreen, Sophie A. (20 June 1909 - 8 May 1998) MEDFORD - Sophie A. Spreen, 88, Medford, died May 8, 1998, at her residence. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Medford Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hemer Funeral Home and again from 11 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the church. She was born June 20, 1909, in the town of Chelsea. She had owned and operated Interlaken Resort at Lake Esadore in the town of Hammel where she had also operated a worm farm. Surviving are her brother, Ernest (Elizabeth) Pinsch of Medford; and two sisters, Erna Mahner and Elizabeth Molitor, both of Medford. |
