(28 Feb. 1922 – 4 Oct. 2008) PITTSVILLE -- Ernest L. Marschner, 86, of Marshfield, died Oct. 4, 2008, at Deerview Meadows Assisted Living. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at Buchanan Funeral Home in Pittsville. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday, both at the funeral home. He was born Feb. 28, 1922, in Medford to Herbert and Mabel (Kautzer) Marschner. Ernest had farmed in the town of Rock all of his life and was also employed at Wick Homes in Marshfield. Surviving are his brother, Lester (Jeanette) Marschner, Marshfield; and two sisters, Romilda Luce, Beloit, and Doris (Lloyd) Laskowski.
