----Hommel, Iila Elsa (1917 - March 7, 2009)

Iila Elsa Hommel, 92, West Allis, from the Medford area and every berry patch south of Lake Superior, died Saturday, March 7 at Golden LivingCenter in Florence.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 25 at 11 a.m., with luncheon to follow, at Becker Ritter Funeral Home in Brookfield.

Survivors include three sons, Charles (Joan), Harold and Rick (Barbara); eight grandchildren, Suzanne (Joe), John, Patrick, David, James, Sara, Erica and Beth; 16 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; a son, Gerald; a daughter, Grace; a granddaughter, Annie Petzer; and brothers and sisters.

Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children of Milwaukee.
