Saturday, 28 Feb. 2009 ----Slate, Suzanne (15 May 1956 – 25 Feb. 2009) RIB LAKE -- Suzanne "Sue" Slate, 52, of Rib Lake, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009, at her residence under the care of Hope Hospice. Memorial services are pending. Interment will be in St. Hubert's Cemetery, Star Lake, N.Y. Hemer Funeral Home of Medford is assisting the family with arrangements. Suzanne was born May 15, 1956, at Fine, N.Y., to Derlen and Marie (La Londe) Slate. She moved to the Rib Lake/Medford area in 2000 where she worked for Elmer Green & Associates in Wausau for a couple of years. She then became certified and owned and operated Sue's Psychological Services in Medford until ill health forced her retirement. She is survived by Stan Baldys of Medford, significant other; her daughter, Nicole (fiance Rod Dassow) Slate of Medford; her mother, Marie Slate of Upstate, N.Y.; two brothers, Jim (Elaine) Slate of Kentucky and Dave (Becky) Slate of Upstate, N.Y.; and a sister, Brenda (Harvey) Stenger of Upstate, N.Y.
