Dorothy M. Kramer, 89, Medford died Wednesday, April 7 in Sebring, Fla., where she spent the winter months.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 29 at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger and Deacon Joe Stefancin officiating. Inurnment of her cremated remains will take place at Medford Evergreen Cemetery.


The former Dorothy Seliger was born June 8, 1920 in Marathon City to the late Joseph and Francis (Smasal) Seliger. She attended Marathon City schools.


On October 1, 1960 in Redwing, Minn., she married Robert E. Kramer, who preceded her in death on May 26, 1997. She was a corporate officer and office manager for Kramer Plumbing & Heating in Phillips and Medford from 1959 until her retirement in July 1989. She also did volunteer work at Memorial Health Center and during the winter months at the hospital and library in Sebring.


She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She enjoyed curling, golfing, bowling and playing bridge.


Survivors include a son, Dudley Paulus of Phillips; a stepson, Richard (Mellodye) Kramer of Fond du Lac; a brother, Don (Shirley) of Tucson, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.


In addition to her parents and husband, Robert, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Irene (Jim) Bonkoski, Jeanette (Bud) Kosmerchock and Gerri (Ben) Zimmermann; and her first husband, Earl Paulus.
