Monday, 16 Feb. 2009 ----Wudi, Barbara Ann (26 Apr. 1941 – 14 Feb. 2009) Barbara Ann Wudi, 67, of Medford died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009, at the Golden Living Center, Rib Lake, under the care of Hope Hospice and Palliative Care. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Whittlesey, with Fr. Gerard Willger and Dn. Joe Stefancin officiating. An interment will be held in St. Ann's Cemetery in the town of Greenwood. John Stauner, Kenny Wegerer, Travis Wegerer, Rich Bruss, Mike Tully, Tom Blair, Dale Stange and Mark Lutz will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, at the church, and also on Wednesday morning at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass. There will be a rosary and parish prayer service conducted by Dn. Mark Priniski at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Barbara was born April 26, 1941, in Medford to Henry and Mary Klemm, attended Buddy School in the town of Greenwood and was a 1959 graduate of Rib Lake High School. She was married to Carl "Chuck" Wudi on Aug. 29, 1959, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Whittlesey. She farmed in the town of Greenwood her entire life and also was CNA at the Rib Lake Nursing Home. Barbara was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Whittlesey, was a past-CCD teacher and traveled to Louisiana to assist with Hurricane Katrina relief. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, making rosaries for Central American missions, biking, berry picking and sewing. She will be remembered for her boundless energy and her prayerful devotion to family, friends and farmers. She is survived by three sons, Mike (Cindy) Wudi of Medford, Jeff Wudi of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mark Wudi of Medford; three daughters, Patty (Tom) Blair of Eau Claire, Peggy (Mark) Lutz of Marshfield and Bonnie (Dale) Stange of Athens; 17 grandchildren, one sister, Margaret Stauner of Greenwood, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carl Wudi on Sept. 11, 2000, and two infant brothers, Floyd and Alvin. Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Homes of Medford & Rib Lake is serving the family.
