Surnames: Halida, Talaga ----Source: The Star News (Medford, Taylor Co., WI), Thursday, February 12, 2009, Online Edition ----Halida, Verna Elizabeth (10 Oct. 1924 - February 9, 2009) Verna Elizabeth Halida, 84, Marshfield, died Monday, Feb. 9 at Golden LivingCenter in Marshfield. Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 13 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church in Lublin, with Father Marian Talaga officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Thorp Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
