Cecelia E. Gayhart, 93, of Medford died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009, at Deerview Meadows Assisted Living, Medford.

Cremainal Inurnment will take place in the spring in Saint Amborse Cemetery, Wabeno.

She was born Feb. 8, 1915, in Newberry, Mich., to John and Amand (Lehto) Hildeen. She was united in marriage June 16, 1934, to Elmer E. Gayhart, and he preceded her in death April 30, 1990.

She owned and operated the Grand Plank Hotel and Elmer's Tavern in Wabeno for most of her life.

She survived by sons, Jim (Janice) Gayhart of Kewaunee and Elmer (Dori) Gayhart of Medford, brother, Arnie Hilden of Ontonagon, Mich., six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Hemer Funeral Home of Medford is assisting the family with arrangements.
