News: Unidentified Man Killed in Train Derailment (1936)
----Source: Abbotsford Tribune (Abbotsford, Clark County, Wis.) 07/16/1936 Man Killed When Cars Leave Track An unidentified man was killed when four cars of Soo Line Train No. 28 were derailed a mile this side of Stetsonville Wednesday night. Three cars of lumber and poles and an empty gasoline car were wrecked when they struck a sun kink caused by the heat. The body of the man was found buried under poles. A wrecker was called from Stevens Point and the tracks were cleared by midnight. The night passenger train was delayed about an hour and a half as a result of the accident. |
