Medford native, Mary L. Vircks, 63, Milwaukee, died Sunday, Sept. 7. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 11 at noon at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.

The former Mary Marschner was born in Medford to the late Lawrence and Eila Anne Marschner. She worked as a medical assistant for Drs. Saluja and Shivram, and previously for Drs. Soni and Apte.

She was a dedicated member of St. Lucas Church where she served on the building and grounds committee, and was past president of the Ladies Aid Society. She enjoyed gardening, camping, softball, and the Bucks and Brewers.

Survivors include her husband, Warren of Milwaukee; her son, Rory; four sisters, Mona (Ronald) Anderson, Suzanne (James) Freimund, Unetta (Roger Gumz) Unger and Cheri (Michael) Plooy; mother-in-law, Audrey Vircks of Medford; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerald (Marlene), Jane (Robert) Potter, Steven (Nancy), Suzanne (Glenn) Goessl, Phyllis, Marilyn (Daniel) Shereda, Richard (Deborah) and Clayton (Cheryl) Vircks; nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marylee.

Memorials are appreciated to St. Lucas Church Basement Renovation Fund.

Prasser-Kleczka Bay View Chapel of Milwaukee assisted the family with arrangements.
