Marjorie Elaine Eisner, 84, Town of Worcester, Price County, died Tuesday, Dec. 28 at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Phillips.

A graveside service will be held at a later date. Cremainal interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Rib Lake.


The former Marjorie Bleakney was born August 17, 1926 in Portland, Ore. to the late Lg Leroy and Elma Marie (Reeder) Bleakney.

She attended Albany Grade School, Albany Junior High and was a 1944 high school graduate in Mississippi.


Her marriage to Edward R. Eisner, who survives, took place June 30, 1962. They made their home in Illinois until moving back to Phillips in 1990. She was an administrative executive professional for 10 years at Elgin Community College and for seven years at Hilltop Sanatorium in Lake Bluff, Ill. until retiring in 1980.


She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist. She enjoyed reading, gardening, music, and spending time with her family.


In addition to her husband, survivors include six children, Michael M. (Cheryl) Kainz, Jr. of Elburn, Ill., Donald Mark (Peng Min) Kainz of Las Vegas, Nev., Marilyn M. (David Sr.) Weber of Savanna, Ill. Rick A. (Connie) Kainz of Denver City, Texas, Karla J. Walburn of East Dubuque, Ill., and Anthony W. Eisner of Michigan; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Roberta Evelyn (Chester) Minkler; a half-bother, Darrel (Arlene) Bleakney; and a daughter, Judith K. Craft on April 10, 2010.


Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake is assisting the family with arrangements.
