In her spare time, Pauline enjoyed decorating Ukrainian Easter eggs year round. By paying strict attention to the smallest details, her Easter eggs were widely recognized around the area and some were placed in art museums in Madison and Eau Claire. She also enjoyed watching football, softball and baseball games over the years.

She was a member of Holy Assumption Orthodox Church and helped start the Democratic Party in Lublin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry Lencz; five sisters, Julia Rusnak, Ann Schumann, Eva Lindbergh, Olga Munson and Rosie Krawchuk; and one brother, Nick Shewczyk.

Pauline was a very caring person who always had time to help and enjoy others while she was physically able.
