Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 10 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Arlington. Burial was at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. ------------------------------- ----Source: Star-Telegram (Arlington, Texas), March 9, 2011 Alvin L. Olson, 84, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home. Alvin was preceded in death by previous spouse of 44 years, Delois Olson of Arlington; his parents, Casper Olson and Alma Nelson; brother, Casper Olson Jr.; sisters, Katherine Singleton and Doris Faude, all of Medford, Wis.; sons, Lawrence Brown and J. Anthony Brown; and daughter, Kathy Fogle, all of Arlington. Survivors: His wife, Vivian Ann Olson; daughter, Vivian D. Klemstein; stepchildren, John Parker and Terry Dyer; brothers, Gene Olson and his wife, Judy, and Edwin Olson of Medford, Wis.; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
