Edith M. Lange, 75, Medford, died on Wednesday, June 15 at Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center in Medford.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 18 at 11 a.m. at United Methodist Church in Medford, with Rev. Michael Adedokun officiating. Burial will be at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II.


Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.


Hemer Funeral Service of Medford assisted the family with arrangements.

MARRIAGE INFORMATION:

January 8, 1955 in Milwaukee to Robert J. Lange and he preceded her in death on November 19, 1995

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE:

Robert and Edith owned and operated the 102 Tavern in Rib Lake for a number of years. The family then moved to Waterford where they owned and operated a restaurant for a few years. During this time she also waitressed at various restaurants in the Waterford area. In 1975 they moved to Augusta and in the early 1980’s they returned to Medford where she worked at Copp’s and K-Mart until her retirement. Edith also volunteered at the Medford Hospital, The Senior Citizen’s Center, the VFW and the United Methodist Church for the past 15 years. She enjoyed doing hobby crafts, knitting, quilting and sewing.

2 Sons: Jeffrey (Tammy) Lange of Medford and Dan (Debbie) Lange of Cornell
