Stella G. Brecke, 82, New Berlin, died on Tuesday, July 5 at her home.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 12 at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford, with Rev. James Babler officiating.

Burial was at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in Stetsonville.

March 5, 1929 in the Town of Deer Creek, Taylor County

EDUCATION:

She graduated as Salutatorian from Dorchester High School in 1946, attended Whitewater College for 1 year and graduated from Taylor County Normal School in 1948

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE:

Stella was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church, Stetsonville. She taught at Pleasant Valley, Hilltop and Dorchester Grade Schools and then Grafton and Thiensville. Stella then worked in Milwaukee at several Insurance Companies until her retirement in 1995. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and spending time with her family.
