Norman H. Franck, 86, Medford, died on Saturday, Oct. 29 at the Gilman Care Center in Gilman.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 11 a.m. at the North Ridge Church in Abbotsford, with Rev. Will Krebs and Rev. Dale Hazard officiating. Cremainal inurnment will take place at a later date at Molitor Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Molitor.


Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.


Hemer Funeral Service of Medford assisted the family with arrangements.

MARRIAGE INFORMATION:

July 27, 1957 in Medford to Caroline A. Griesbach, she survives

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE:

Norman worked in sawmills with his father. From 1957 until 1987 he resided in the Minocqua/Woodruff area and worked at Hastrieters Mill and Pukall Lumber. After retirement in 1987, he joined the Assembly of God “MAPS” Program, doing mission work in California and Mississippi. He retired from that in 2002. Norman enjoyed camping, fishing, rock hound, reading, model railroad and prayer ministry. Norman accepted Jesus Christ as his Saviour in October of 1977.

Caroline A. Franck of 54 years, Medford

SURVIVING CHILDREN:

Joseph (Rebecca) Franck of Strum, David (Cathy) Franck of Osseo, Roddi Franck of Woodruff and Paula Broshar of Exeter, Missouri

DECEASED CHILDREN:

Granddaughter: Becky Batiste and Daughter-In-Law: Carrie Franck

SURVIVING GRANDCHILDREN:

12 and 5 Step-Grandchildren; 10 Great-Grandchildren and 12 Step Great-Grandchildren

SURVIVING BROTHERS/SISTERS:

Violet (Earl) Thums of Westboro; Sister-In-Law: Marion Griesbach of Medford,
also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends

DECEASED SISTERS:

Edna Schmidt and Gertrude Smith

DECEASED FATHER:

Claude H. Franck

DECEASED MOTHER:

Susie (Armstrong) Franck

OTHER INFORMATION: In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Norman’s family to be designated at a later date.
