Daniel H. Stebner, 82, Ladysmith, died on Thursday, Oct. 27 at the Ladysmith Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 11 a.m. at the Donald Town Hall, with Pastor Weber officiating. Burial will be at the Donald Cemetery.


Nash-Jackan Funeral Home of Ladysmith assisted the family with arrangements.
Daniel Stebner was born on February 24, 1929 in Donald to the late Robert and Lillian (Guthrie) Stebner.


On October 24, 1953 in Sheldon he married Marian Soward, and they later divorced in 1979. He lived in Gilman and Ladysmith.


He was a member of the Ladysmith Senior Citizens and did community work.


Survivors include a son, Tim of Green Bay; two daughters, Cindy (Tom Lechleitner) of Gilman and Rebecca of Eau Claire; six grandchildren, Tracy (Ken Kurst), Candace (Dan Krist), Kevin, Sara (Grant Fowler), William and Kyle; and one great-grandson, Joe Krist.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Greg, in 2003, and a granddaughter, Joanie, in 1990.
