Reinhold "Reiny" W. Janke, 95, Medford, died on Saturday, Dec. 31 at Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center in Medford.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Jan. 4 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Whittlesey, with Rev. Randall Jeppesen officiating, and full military honors performed by the Boxrucker-Berry American Legion.

Burial was at St. Mary's Cemetery in the Town of Little Black.

MARRIAGE INFORMATION:

February 26, 1949 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford to A. Lucille Frenzel and she survives

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE:

Reiny served in the U.S. Army from 1942-1945 where he was stationed in Europe. He then worked for General Flooring in Chicago for a couple of years. In 1950 they moved to the Medford area where they dairy farmed for 10 years, where he also did carpenter work for Medford Lumber Co. and was the maintenance man at Memorial Hospital. He worked at Our House as the maintenance man until his retirement. Reiny enjoyed fishing, playing cards, traveling, camping, and most of all attending school functions for his grandchildren.
