Adams, Tillie R. (13 Mar. 1903 – 30 June 1992)

Services for Mrs. Tillie R. Adams, 89, a Marshfield resident, who died at 1:40 p.m. Tues. at St. Joseph’s Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Fri. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

The Rev. Peter J. Leketus will officiate. Music will be provided by Mrs. Helen Brinkmann, organist, and the Men’s Trio. Pallbearers will be Thomas Rentmeester, Jerry and Joel Butler, Michael Brock, James Peroutka and Paul Seidl.

Committal services will be at 11 a.m. Mon. at Holy Trinity Cemetery, New Denmark, Brown County.

Visitation will be at Rembs/Kundinger Chapel at 4 p.m. today and again Fri. until service time. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. tonight at the funeral chapel.

She was born March 13, 1903, in Maribel, to the late Wenzel and Francis (Meyer) Parizek. She attended Maribel elementary schools and Denmark High School, Denmark. She was married to Joseph G. Adams at All Saints Catholic Church, Denmark, and he died Dec. 7, 1983.

As a young woman, she was employed in Green Bay. After her marriage, she continued to reside in Green Bay and was the owner and operator of a catering service for a number of years. She was then employed for the Christian Brothers Friary in Wheaton, Ill. She later was employed in the household of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in East Lansing, Mich., until her retirement. She moved to Marshfield in April 1977 to reside with her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Charles Rentmeester, and later resided at the Bethel Living Center. She had been a resident of the Marshfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the past year and a patient at the hospital since June 25.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Parish Council of Catholic Women.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Charles H. (Mary F.) Rentmeester of Marshfield, three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

She was also predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.
