Gawlik, John S. (8 Jan. 1914 – 4 Nov. 1980)

VESPER – John S. Gawlik, 66, Stevens Point, brother of Mrs. Charles (Catherine) Cwiklo of Vesper, died Tues. afternoon at St. Michael’s Hospital, Stevens Point. In ill health the past two years, he had been a patient there six days.

Besides his sister here, he is survived by his wife, Beatrice, two sons, three daughters, five brothers, four other sisters, 10 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

One son and one sister are deceased.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Dzikoski Funeral Home, Stevens Point.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Fri. at St. Bronislava’s Catholic Church, Plover. The Rev. Charles Hiebl is to officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Mr. Gawlik was a millwright at Plover Papers 33 years. He retired in 1975.
