----Surnames: Schmidt ----Source: Marshfield News Thursday 26 February 1914 P. 4 C. 6 Nicholas Schmidt, one of the early settlers of the county, died at the home of his son, John Schmidt, Sunday at the age of eighty-nine years. His wife preceded him in death seven years ago. He was a native of Germany. The funeral was held at the Catholic Church yesterday forenoon. Biographical Information 1905 Wis.
