Fri., 31 Dec. 2004 Kuehnhold, Ida E. (17 Apr. 1918 – 29 Dec. 2004) AUBURNDALE - Ida E. Kuehnhold, 86, of Auburndale died Wed., Dec. 29, 2004, at House of the Dove in Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Mon. at St John's Lutheran Church in Auburndale. The Rev. Mark Lundgren will officiate. Joyce Weiler will provide music. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Auburndale. Serving as pallbearers will be Richard, Gerald, Matthew, Dennis, David, Ronald, Robert Kuehnhold and Alfred 'Sonny' Krings. Cody and Amanda Kuehnhold will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sun. at Hansen Funeral Home and one hour prior to service time on Mon. at the church. Ida Kuehnhold was born April 17, 1918, in Auburndale, a daughter of William and Amanda (Krings) Kuehnhold. Ida attended Sun.ine School in Auburndale, earning her diploma in 1971 and in 1972 she received a certificate from the Food Service Supervisor Class at the Eau Claire Tech School. She was head cook at Norwood Health Center in Marshfield for many years until her retirement. She was very active in the St. John's Lutheran Church at Auburndale. She was a member of Ladies Aid and Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. Her hobbies included cooking, craft work and was an avid reader. Ida Kuehnhold is survived by her sister, Ruth Kuehnhold of Auburndale; her sister-in-law, Ruth Kuehnhold of Stratford; six nieces, including Viola (Donald) Berkholtz, Wisconsin Rapids, Paulette (Lon) Peterson, Marshfield, Darlene (Ray) Engelbrecht, Cato, Joanne Wilhorn, Wisconsin Rapids, Jean (Jim) Nelson , Shawano, and Janet (Loren) Leverance, Wisconsin Rapids; and nine nephews, Arnold (June) Meyer, Spencer, Dennis (Carol) Kuehnhold, Marshfield, James (Barbara) Wilhorn, Wisconsin Rapids, Ronald (Debbie) Kuehnhold, Stratford, Robert (Carol) Kuehnhold, Delafield, David Kuehnhold, Stratford, Richard (Molly) Kuehnhold, Wisconsin Rapids, Gerald (Karen) Kuehnhold, Wisconsin Rapids, and Matthew (Vicki) Kuehnhold, Auburndale. She was predeceased by her parents; her sisters, Dorothy Meyer, Hilda Gebelein and Edna Wilhorn; and brothers, William, Jr., Walter and Wallace Kuehnhold. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Building for Life Everlasting Fund of St. John's Lutheran Church at Auburndale or House of The Dove. The family of Ida Kuehnhold wish to especially thank the staff and volunteers at the House of Dove in Marshfield for their loving care over the past 11/2 years.
