----Surnames: Stangl, Stashek, Tank ----Source: Marshfield News Herald, Marshfield, Wood Co., WI, Tues., 12 Sept. 1978 Stangl, Delores R. (26 June 1939 – 12 Sept. 1978) ARPIN – Mrs. Robert W. (Delores) Stangl, 39, Route 1, Arpin, died at 6:20 a.m. Tues. at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where she had been admitted July 3. Services are set for 10:30 a.m. Thur. at St. Francis Catholic Church in Arpin, the Rev. George A. Stashek, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation will be at 2 p.m. Wed. at Rembs Kundinger Chapel in Marshfield and until time of services Thur.. There will be a parish vigil at 8 p.m. Wed.. The former Delores R. Tank was born June 28, 1939 in Butternut and received her education in Ashland County. On Feb. 23, 1957 she was married to Robert W. Stangl at St. John’s Catholic Church in Marshfield. They lived in Marshfield until 1965, when they moved to Arpin. She was employed by Figi’s Inc. Mrs. Stangl was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband, Robert, nine children, Jean, Robert Jr., Jerry, Timothy, David, Daniel, Teresa, Lisa and Thomas, all at home; and three brothers, Harlyn Tank, Joliet, Ill.; Gerald Tank, St. Paul, Minn.; and Donald Tank of Kellner.
