Reynolds, 87, of Marshfield died Wed. May 27, 2009, at the Drake House, under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Mon. at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Mon. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home of Marshfield is assisting the family with arrangements. Reynolds, 87, of Marshfield, died early Wed. morning May 27, 2009, at the Drake House, under the tender care of Ministry Home Care Hospice. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Mon. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Marshfield is assisting the family with arrangements. Verna Regina Reynolds was born Oct. 11, 1921, on the family farm in Winnebago County, a daughter of Carl and Frances (Formillar) Yonke. She was educated in Rushford country schools. The former Verna Yonke was married to Ervin Reynolds, and the couple later divorced. Verna was a loving mother and homemaker. Mrs. Reynolds was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Verna had a spunky personality. She loved life and enjoyed making new friends. Verna appreciated some of the simpler things in life, including bingo, rides in the countryside and going out to eat. Three children, Diane Reynolds, Ironwood, Mich., David Reynolds, Wausau, and Sadie Reynolds, Texas, survive Verna. Two sisters, Helen and Gertrude, preceded Mrs. Reynolds in death. |
