Kloos, David R. (2 Jan. 1962 - 27 May 2009)

FOND DU LAC -- David R. "Uncle Buddy" Kloos, 47, of Fond du Lac, died Wed., May 27, 2009, at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac.

He was born Jan. 2, 1962, in Marshfield, the son of Robert H. and Joan M. Frankwick Kloos. He bartended part time at Marghaels in North Fond du Lac. He was a member of Fond du Lac County Pool League and the National Kidney Foundation.

David enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool, which he won many tournaments, playing golf, shooting darts, baking cookies, watching the Brewers, Packers and Badgers, and loved spending time with family.

He is survived by his parents, Bob and Joan Kloos, Rosendale; two sisters, Debbie (special friend, Jason) Krueger, Rosendale, and Darla (Scott) Marchenkuski, Brandon; niece and god-daughter, Jackie (Walter) Zawadzki; niece, Annie (special friend, Steven) Ernest; nephew, Tyler Ernest; great-niece and nephew, Lacey and Alex Zawadzki; maternal grandparents, Harold and Ruth Bell, Marshfield.

He is further survived by his dearest friend, Lisa (Cliff) Seltrecht and their son, Casey, Brownsville; special friends, Brian Krueger and Randy Krueger; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Clarence Frankwick; paternal grandparents; and uncles, David Frankwick and John Bell.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Fri., May 29, 2009, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at the church Sat. from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Sat. May 30, 2009, at Our Risen Saviour Catholic Church, Woodhull, with the Rev. John Simon officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional services.

The family extends a special thank you to the staff of the Fond du Lac and Madison Dialysis Centers.
