Obit: Mele, Patti (1944 - 2008)
----Surnames: Mele, Hoff, Sullivan, Schuler ----Source: Marshfield News Herald, Marshfield, Wood Co., WI, Fri., 22 May 2009 Mele, Patti (3 Sept. 1944 - 25 Dec. 2008) Patti Schuler Mele, formerly of Marshfield, died Christmas Day 2008 of heart failure in southern California. She was 65 and recently retired as an elementary school librarian. She is survived by her two sons, Dean and Jamie Mele and five grandchildren, all of southern California. She is also survived by two sisters, Pam (Tom) Hoff of Arbor Vitae and Marti (Dennis) Sullivan of Henderson, Nev.; and a brother, Tom Schuler of Madison. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Mele, formerly of Kenosha. Friends and family plan to honor her memory by spreading her ashes at Mammoth Lakes in the High Sierras of California later this year. ***Note: birth date from Social Security Death Index. |
